This League starts 27th May until 29th July
Entry for each round opens the Thursday prior to the race @9am and closes the evening before @ 10pm
Assembly for all riders - Crankill Rd, 153, Ballymena BT44 9HA. No warming up on the course after 7pm, No rear light = No start, and strictly no following vehicles behind riders. These rules will be rigidly enforced.
Please be aware if your light is not up to minimum requirements you will be denied a start.
Please use the lorry stop. DO NOT park on the main premises fore court, this is reserved for shop customers. I.e. when entering gate turn left onto gravel parking area.
Round 1: First rider off at: 7.01pm
Pre- registration via Cycling Ireland online registration is compulsory, no entries will be accepted on the day! A link to online entry will be published on our Facebook page before entry goes live.
NOTE: Due to some very serious accidents at Cycling Ireland time trial events and Covid 19 restrictions pre entry, with all warning notes, guides and regulations is the only way riders will be allowed to start this event. We want to have all our riders aware of where they are going, what we require of them, and make them fully aware of any risks involved. Your safety is our number one priority. We will no longer accept riders signing on the day of the event. Please do not ask as refusal will cause disappointment.
Please leave the lorry stop area clean and tidy. We are relying on the goodwill of Applegreen to run our events.
Your car must remain at Applegreen and riders will turn right and proceed northwards approximately 1 mile to the starting lay-by. At BT44 9RB. Parking at the start Lay-by is strictly only for the organisers, marshalls and timekeepers.
You MUST ride to the start from the lorry stop, your time will NOT be recorded if you ignore this.
Your race numbers will be placed on a numbered board in a clear transparent plastic bag at the entrance to the lorry stop. Please remove the bag with the correct number inside and when you have finished your event place your race number back in the bag provided and place in the bucket beside the board.
Once again registration will be strictly online only, signing on the day is not permitted
Following registration closure a list of the allocated start times for each rider will be published on our Facebook page.
Riders should present themselves to the start area no less than 5 mins before their allocated start time.
Riders and/or their bikes will not be held at the start line.
Strictly no mass congregating at the start /finish area. Social distancing should be maintained as per government guidelines at all times.
It is important riders familiarise themselves and maintain respiratory hygiene and etiquette at all times.
Upon completion of the TT, riders should collect any equipment and promptly vacate the lorry park to avoid congregating in crowds.
Finish times and results will be published online following the event. Riders should not trouble the timekeepers. When registering online please make sure you enter the correct category. Categories for this year’s EMSS are as follows,
